These terms govern your use of Playdate. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.

Who can use Playdate

You must be at least 18 years old and a parent or guardian to use Playdate. You're responsible for the information you enter, including any details about your children, and for keeping your account secure.

Acceptable use

Use Playdate respectfully and lawfully. Don't harass others, share someone else's information without permission, attempt to access accounts that aren't yours, or misuse the service. Only connect with people you know and trust.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you create (profiles, activities, messages). You grant us permission to store and display it as needed to run the service for you and the friends you share it with. You're responsible for ensuring you have the right to share what you post.

Safety

Playdate is a coordination tool, not a substitute for your own judgment. You are solely responsible for decisions about meeting other families, supervising your children, and your safety. Always verify new connections and meet in safe, public settings when appropriate.

Service availability

We work to keep Playdate available and reliable, but we provide the service "as is" without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Playdate and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms; we'll post the new date above. Continued use means you accept the changes.
